Common Continental problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
E0 probe error on the control
Evaporator coil icing over
HI alarm after loading warm product
Display blank except compressor icon
Condensate overflowing the pan
Heaters not working after E2 alarm
Continental Lines We Service
Continental cabinets work in kitchens, schools and bars. Our calls include the Standard line reach-ins in one, two and three sections (solid, glass, half-door and pass-thru) and the Designer Line D1R, D2R and D3R reach-ins, roll-in models among them. We also repair RA and DRA worktops, SW and D worktop and sandwich or salad prep refrigerators, PA pizza prep tables, UC undercounters, BB back bar coolers, BC bottle and KC keg coolers and MC forced-air milk coolers.
These cabinets use an easy electronic control, and some use a similar control from another supplier. The keys lock themselves after 30 seconds, which surprises many owners. Holding the up and defrost key for 3 seconds starts a manual defrost.
Typical Problems We Find
An E0 message means the regulation probe has failed, and the cabinet drops back to a timed cycle, so product can warm without much notice. A HI alarm after a big delivery is often just warm product, but one that stays can point to a dirty condenser. If the evaporator ices up, we check the defrost settings and the defrost heater. A display that is blank except for the compressor icon sends us to the control board.
Worn gaskets are the other big one. Humid air gets in, which matters most in Miami and Houston, and frost forms. We also see condensate overflow when the pan cannot keep up. We inspect the coil, gaskets and probe first, test the heaters after an E2 message, and give honest advice on older cabinets.

E0 is a regulation probe error. The cabinet switches to a timed cycle, so the temperature may drift. Call us so we can test the probe and the connection.
Why does my Continental control not respond when I press a key?
The keys lock after 30 seconds without use. Unlock the keypad as described in the owner's manual and try again. If the control still does not respond, call us.
Do you repair Continental Designer Line cabinets?
Yes. We service Designer Line D1R, D2R and D3R reach-ins and the standard line, and we confirm parts from the model number first.
