Common XLT problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Conveyor jam alarm
Belt speed error
Oven will not hold temperature
Burner or blower trouble on gas ovens
Touch screen unresponsive
Uneven bake across the belt
Reading an XLT Model Number
XLT conveyor ovens are common in pizza kitchens, and we service the 32 inch models and the 3855. The model number tells you the size: the first two digits give the belt width and the last two the length of the bake chamber. Our work covers the 3240, 3255, 3270, 3270S and 3855, in gas and electric, with either the TS touch-screen controls or the standard controls.
Belt, Heat and Airflow Problems
When the belt stops and the user interface shows a conveyor alarm, we look for anything caught in the conveyor and check the belt drive. A belt that runs faster or slower than its setting sends us to the motor, the speed feedback and the control. If an oven will not hold temperature, we look at the heating system and the controls. On gas versions we check the burner and the blower.
A hot oven in a humid kitchen needs clean airflow, so we check the cooling and the finger assemblies for grease and flour buildup. We confirm parts before the visit, tell you plainly if an older oven is not worth another repair, and give you a written price before work starts. Repairs include a 30-day workmanship warranty. If you are not sure which model you have, the data plate gives us what we need.
XLT codes and alarms
What the display or the blinking light means, what is safe to check, and when to stop and call us.
XLT lines and model numbers we service
Current and older lines. Find the number on the data plate and open its series for the usual repairs.
What do the numbers in an XLT model name mean?
The first two digits are the belt width and the last two are the length of the bake chamber. A 3255, for example, is a 32 inch belt oven. Give us the model when you book.
My XLT belt stopped and the screen shows an alarm. What now?
Turn off the oven, let it cool, and look for anything caught in the conveyor. If the belt still will not move or the alarm returns, call us so we can check the belt and drive.
Do you service both gas and electric XLT ovens?
Yes. We repair gas and electric XLT conveyor ovens with touch-screen or standard controls. We confirm parts for your model before we arrive, and you get a written price first.
