Waring Models We Service
Waring’s commercial food processors are batch-bowl machines of 2.5 to 4 quarts, including the WFP11S, WFP14S, WFP14SC, WFP16S and WFP16SCD. The Hi-Power Xtreme blenders are 64-ounce machines with a 3.5 horsepower motor on 120 volts. In the MX model numbers, XTX means a touch pad, XTP means programmable and XTS means a switch, and the EE versions are 230 volt.
First Checks
A processor that will not start sends us to the bowl and lid interlock, to see if it is seated. A motor that trips its overload makes us look at the load, and a wobbling disc or a cracked bowl is a problem we see on heavily used machines. A leaking blade seal is a wear problem from daily washdowns.
On the Xtreme blenders, a machine that stops during a cycle usually triggered the motor thermal protection, so we look at how long and how hard it was used and at the vents. Leaks at the blade assembly, a touch pad that does not respond and noise from a worn coupling are the other calls we see. A Waring blender on a busy bar works all day, so the coupling wears out first.
We confirm parts before the visit, write the price down before work begins, and back the repair with a 30-day warranty. On an older machine we say plainly when a repair is not worth it.
Waring lines and model numbers we service
Current and older lines. Find the number on the data plate and open its series for the usual repairs.
What do XTX, XTP and XTS mean on a Waring blender?
They mark the controls: XTX is a touch pad, XTP is programmable and XTS is a switch. Knowing yours helps us bring the right parts.
Why does my Waring blender stop in the middle of a cycle?
The motor thermal protection has likely opened from long or heavy use. Let it cool, and if it keeps happening, we check the vents, the motor and the controls.
Do you repair Waring food processors?
Yes. We service the WFP series batch processors, checking the interlock, the seal and the motor. We check the parts that apply to your model and give you the price in writing first.
