Scale in the tank
Not enough hot water for a conveyor machine
Element or thermostat problem
Hubbell Gas and Electric Boosters
Hubbell makes gas and electric boosters, and we repair current and older ones. The PT56 is a ventless gas booster for door-type dish machines, rated at 55,000 Btu/h input and 44,000 output, with VariFlame technology and no standing pilot. It runs on natural gas or propane and a 115 volt supply. The PT125 and PT200 are tankless gas boosters for conveyor and flight machines, 90 percent efficient, powered-vent, with a digital display. On the electric side we repair the J-series tank boosters, in 16 gallon J16 and 6 gallon J6 sizes, the JTX and JHX tankless electric boosters, and older A-series heaters such as the A64 to A68. Many of those older heaters are still in daily use, and we repair them when it makes sense.
Where We Start
If the rinse is under 180 degrees F, we check the thermostat, the element or the gas valve and igniter. A PT gas booster has no standing pilot, so a unit that will not light has an ignition problem. Scale in a tank slows recovery, which is common where the water is hard, and a booster that is too small for a conveyor machine will not keep up.
If you smell gas near any gas booster, leave the building and call the gas utility from outside. For anything else, call us.
The price is in writing before we start, and our work carries a 30-day warranty.

The PT series has no standing pilot, so a booster that will not light has an ignition problem. If you smell gas, leave the building and call the gas utility from outside. Otherwise call us, and we test the igniter and gas valve.
What is the difference between the PT56 and the PT125?
The PT56 is a ventless gas booster for door-type dish machines, and the PT125 is a tankless, powered-vent gas booster for conveyor and flight machines. The model name tells us which parts apply.
Do you repair older Hubbell A-series heaters?
Yes. We service A64 through A68 and other older Hubbell heaters. If a repair is not worth the cost on an older heater, we tell you before we start.
