A washer-extractor door has to stay locked while the drum is moving. The input and output board drives the lock solenoid, and it also has a disable pin that lets the control switch the solenoid off. That is part of how the machine decides when the door may open. During its checks the board tests that pin. Eio 30 means the pin did not respond as expected, so the control cannot be sure it can let go of the lock, or hold it, when it needs to. Rather than risk the door, the control stops the machine and leaves the code on the display. The manual lists a lock output on the input and output board that has failed, wiring or a plug at the door lock solenoid that has loosened, and a weak supply feeding the board's lock circuit. Do not try to defeat the lock; the stop is protective.
