On Quantum frontload and topload washers, oFF is the shutdown stage of the break-in alarm. After the control sees door or coin vault switch trouble, it shuts the washer down. Close and latch the coin vault door, make sure the washer door is fully shut, and call us if oFF stays.

What does Speed Queen error code OFF mean?
Quantum washers watch two switches as a security measure: the one on the coin vault door and the one on the washer door. If the control sees trouble on either, it first warns, and if the condition is not cleared it moves to the shutdown stage, which is oFF. The display shows oFF and the washer stays out of service instead of only warning. This is a security response to switch readings, not a sign of a water leak or motor problem on the machine, and the drum and plumbing are unaffected. The manual lists the coin vault door being fully shut and latched, washer door switch operation, wires and plugs at both switches, and the control's reading of the switch circuits. A vault door that is not seated, or a door that was forced, will trip it. After the switches read normally, the control can leave the shutdown stage, though a technician may be needed if it does not.
