The KOD line is the outdoor version of Kold Locker. Walk-ins that stand outside see sun, rain and humid weather every day, so seams, door seals and the condensing section age faster than they would indoors. The model number follows the same pattern as the indoor line: a KOD66 is a 6 by 6 cooler, and a KODF freezer number such as KODF7788-C is a freezer.
We look at the roof edges, the door sweep and the gasket first, because water or hot air getting in loads the coil. Then we check the condensing section for dirt and airflow, and the defrost cycle. If the controller shows a code, we read it and trace it to the sensor or wiring behind it.
Older outdoor boxes are part of our regular work, and a unit worn beyond saving gets an honest verdict from us.

The KOD line is built for outdoor use, and the KL line is for indoors. The size naming is the same. Because KOD boxes face weather, we pay extra attention to seals and seams.
Do you service KODF freezers?
Yes. The freezer versions get the same attention as the coolers. Pricing is in writing first, and if an old unit would swallow more than it is worth, you hear that from us.
