Randell PT-W-L Series and Custom Prep Tables
Current line.
Repairs this series usually needs
- Table warm from a dirty condenser
- Open door alarm
- High and low temperature alarms
- Sensor alarms E0 and E1
- Worn lid and door gaskets
The PT-W-L series and the custom prep tables are the Randell tables that do not fall under the 8000-290 and 9000W-290 lists. The PT-W-L uses a Carel controller, and the custom tables use a Danfoss controller. Because these tables vary from job to job, the data plate on the unit is the only way to identify one.
Carel codes you may see include E0, E1, dOr, LO, HI and CHt. We read the display, then check the condenser, the lid and door seals, the sensors and the fans, and last the sealed system.
Read us the model and serial number from the data plate when you call. Older tables of these types are repairable in many cases, and where one is not, we say so. The price is written down before work starts.

Randell prep tables codes
How do I identify my prep table?
Read the model and serial number from the data plate on the unit. Custom tables especially vary, so the plate tells us what parts to bring.
Which codes does the PT-W-L show?
The Carel control shows E0, E1, dOr, LO, HI and CHt. We explain each on its code page and fix the cause. We explain each code in plain words.
Do you repair custom Randell tables?
Yes. Custom and older tables are part of our work. A written price comes first, and a table not worth fixing gets a candid verdict.
