Victory Refrigerator Error Code E01-E04, Con, uHi, uLi, Lo
On Victory cabinets with a Danfoss ERC-type controller, E01 to E04 report sensors S1 to S4 failing, Con is a condenser alarm, uHi and uLi are high and low voltage alarms and Lo is a low temperature alarm. Tell us exactly which message you see and measure the food with a thermometer.
Medium: several different alarms share this group, and some can lead to a warm cabinet if left.

What does Victory error code E01 / E02 / E03 / E04 / Con / uHi / uLi / Lo mean?
The display of a Danfoss ERC-type controller on Victory cabinets, including the freezer-side tables for models such as the CBF60HC and VUF27HC that also appear on chef base refrigerators, can show E01 / E02 / E03 / E04 / Con / uHi / uLi / Lo. E01 to E04 report sensors S1 to S4 failing. Con is a condenser alarm, uHi and uLi are high and low voltage alarms, and Lo is a low temperature alarm. Several different problems share this group, so tell us exactly which message you see. A sensor code means the controller lost the reading from that probe and cannot trust the temperature. Con means the condenser is running too warm to reject heat. The voltage alarms compare the supply with the range the motors are built for, and Lo can mean the cabinet is too cold or that a probe reads wrong. The manual lists a loose plug on the sensor named by the code, a dirty condenser or weak fan, supply voltage outside range, and a cabinet probe that reads wrong and causes a false Lo.
Affected models and control systems
This applies to Victory cabinets with a Danfoss ERC-type controller, including the freezer-side tables for models such as the CBF60HC and VUF27HC.
Code numbers and their meaning can change between control generations. We match the full model and control before acting on a code.
What you may notice
- One of these codes on the display
- Cabinet air that is warmer or colder than usual
- A cabinet that cycles oddly after a sensor code
- Warm air from the condenser area with Con
Possible causes
Listed in Victory's documentation
- A loose plug on the S1 to S4 sensor named by the code
- A dirty condenser or weak fan that sets off the Con alarm
- Supply voltage outside range, which triggers uHi or uLi
- A cabinet probe that reads wrong, which can cause a false Lo
Other likely causes — what usually sits behind error code E01 / E02 / E03 / E04 / Con / uHi / uLi / Lo on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- A sensor lead pinched at the door frame or cut by a gasket
- A building supply that sags when other kitchen equipment starts
- A condenser coil clogged with grease from nearby cooking
Safe checks before calling for service
- Write down the message exactly as shown.
- Measure the food with a thermometer while we arrange the visit.
- Keep the doors shut as much as possible.
- Photograph the display, tell us the model number and note how long the message has been on.
How a technician diagnoses error code E01 / E02 / E03 / E04 / Con / uHi / uLi / Lo
- Read the exact code and match it to the sensor, voltage or condenser alarm it names.
- Check the named sensor plug and measure the sensor against a reference.
- Clean and inspect the condenser and fan, then measure supply voltage under load.
- Compare cabinet air with the display to judge whether Lo is real.
- Replace the sensor or control only after the test fails.
- Voltage readings are taken at mains-powered terminals under load.
- Condenser and compressor checks need refrigeration gauges and refrigerant handling.
- One code can come from several causes, and the right fix depends on tests.

Are all of these codes the same?
No. They share a group but mean different things, from a failed sensor to a voltage alarm.
Is the food at risk?
Measure it. A sensor code or Con can lead to a warm cabinet, while Lo can be false.
Why does the model number matter?
Different freezer-side tables use the same ERC-type codes, so we need your model to bring the right sensor.
