Fineline is Nor-Lake’s custom walk-in. With more than 50,000 possible configurations, each box can be a different size, door layout and temperature, so there is no model list to match against. That makes the data plate and the refrigeration label the key to knowing what you have.
On a Fineline box we start with how it is used. A walk-in with heavy door traffic needs good gaskets and strip curtains. One in a hot back room needs clear airflow at the condensing section. The LogiTemp control tells us what the system is seeing, and we trace each alarm to its sensor, wiring or part.
We also check that the box still matches how the kitchen uses it, since custom boxes are often changed over the years. The price is written down before we begin.

Each box is built to order from a very large number of configurations. The data plate and refrigeration label identify yours, and we use them to confirm parts.
Can you work on a walk-in that was changed over the years?
Yes. We check what is actually installed, then repair to that. If an earlier modification is behind the trouble, we show you where. A new photo of the data plate helps us.
What do you check first on a custom walk-in?
The door seal and how the box is used, then the coil, defrost and condensing section. If the LogiTemp control shows a code, we read it and trace it.
