The Solstice Electric line from Pitco covers the SE and SFSE fryers, with the SF prefix marking built-in filtration. The data plate shows numbers like SE14, SE18, SE14T or SFSE14X. The control may be the Intellifry computer, a digital control or a solid state one.
On electric fryers the elements, contactors and high limit are our first stops when the fryer is slow or dead. The oil level matters here too: a vat that has dropped below the minimum line can trip the limit and cook the elements. On the filtered SFSE versions we also check the pump and the drain valve.
Older SE fryers are still in service, and we repair them. You see the price in writing before any work.

What does the SF in SFSE14 mean?
The SF versions have built-in filtration. The plain SE versions do not. The data plate tells us which one you have, and we match the parts to that number.
Why does my SE fryer trip when the oil is low?
The fryer protects its elements and limit by cutting heat when oil falls under the minimum line. Keep the vat topped up to the proper level once the oil is cool, and call us if it still trips.
Do you repair the filtration on SFSE fryers?
Yes. We test the pump, the lines and the drain together with the heating side, and give you a written price before we start any work.
