Common LBC problems we fix

Steam output is weak

Control display is dark
Proofer heat timer alarm oT
Humidity alarm oH on the proofer
LBC Ovens and Proofers We Service
LBC’s LRO roll-in rack ovens come in single and double versions, gas or electric, with a digital programmable control that holds 40 recipes. The LMO and LMO Max are mini rack ovens in 6, 8 and 10 pan sizes, often with a proofer base or stand. The LRC7 and LCR rotisserie ovens and the LPC pizza conveyor ovens round out the cooking line. For proofing there are LRP roll-in proofers, LRPR retarder proofers and the LMO-P mini proofer base.
Proofer Alarms and Gas Ovens
The proofer controls have alarm settings rather than numbered codes. The oT alarm is a heat timer, and it sounds if the cabinet is slow to reach temperature. The oH alarm is an upper humidity limit, and oL turns the alarm on or off. The clock can also reset after a power loss, so if the time looks wrong, the control may have lost power.
Gas LMO ovens need a proper gas connection and an exhaust fan interlock, so a gas oven that will not ignite sends us to the interlock and the ignition system. If you smell gas, step outside and call the gas utility. A slow oven leads us to the burner or elements, and weak steam points to the steam system.
We say plainly when an older LBC is not worth repairing, give a written price before work, and back the repair with a 30-day warranty.

It is the heat timer alarm. It can sound when the proofer is slow to reach temperature. We check the element, the sensor and the setting, then price the repair in writing.
Do you repair LBC mini rack ovens with a proofer base?
Yes. We service the LMO and LMO Max mini rack ovens and the proofer base that sits under them, so one visit can cover both the oven and the proofer. The written price comes before the work.
Why will my LBC gas oven not ignite?
The exhaust fan interlock or the ignition system is the usual cause. If you ever smell gas, get everyone out first and call the gas utility from outside. Otherwise tell us the model and we check both.
