Food Processor Repair in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego
Commercial food processors chop, shred and puree all day. We repair them for restaurants, schools and prep kitchens and explain what is worn before you approve parts. Call us or fill out the online form to schedule.
Which food processors do you have?
Pick the maker on the data plate: each page lists its problems, codes and model series. Not on the list? Call us; we repair other makers too.
Common food processors problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Processor stopping partway through a load
Bowl or lid will not lock
Blade wobbling or sounding rough
Motor humming while the blade stays still
Liquid leaking from the bowl base
Machine smelling hot or burnt
Commercial food processors come as batch bowl models with an S-blade, continuous-feed machines with a feed head and discs, and combination units that do both. Restaurants, bakeries, schools, hotels and prep kitchens use them to chop, slice, shred, grate and puree in volume.
Where the wear shows up
Frequent washdowns put moisture on switches and the motor base, and a warm, humid kitchen speeds corrosion. Seals around the blade shaft wear, and food residue works its way into the lower housing. Hard water leaves scale on parts that are cleaned often, and a power event can stress the motor start parts.
We check the power, the lid and bowl interlocks, the motor, the drive and the blade shaft seals. A processor that stops or hums has several possible causes, and what you see cannot name one, so we test the interlock, the start parts and the drive in order.
Repair or replace, and what to have ready
If the motor base and housing are sound, a new seal, switch or blade is usually sensible. If the base is cracked or the motor is worn out, we explain what replacement involves. Read us the model label or data plate when you call.
Unplug the machine before cleaning, and never reach into the bowl or onto the discs or bypass the lid interlock yourself.

An overloaded bowl, a hot motor, a worn start part or a lid safety switch that does not close can each stop it. A stall alone does not tell us which, so we test the motor and the interlock.
Is a burning smell from the motor serious?
Yes. A burnt smell can come from a strained motor or worn bearings. Turn the machine off, unplug it, follow your food-safety plan, and call us. Do not keep using it.
Do you repair older food processors?
Yes. Many are built to last for years. We check the motor, drive, lid interlock, seals and blade assembly, give a written price before work, and tell you honestly when replacement is the better choice.
