Delfield Prep Tables and Reach-Ins
Delfield equipment turns up in sandwich shops, school kitchens and hotel lines. Our prep table calls cover the 18600 Series refrigerated work tables with backsplash, sold as BSTMP and BST-E models, the CTP-NB prep rails, and the older 400 and 4000 Series tables. On the reach-in side we work on the 6000XL, Select 6000, Specification Line and ACR cabinets, in refrigerator and freezer versions.
Why a Delfield Table Runs Warm
A prep table that runs warm at the pan rail is usually fighting airflow. We look at the condenser, the fans, and the lid or pan top, since a lid left open lets the rail warm up faster than the compressor can keep up. When the display shows a sensor message, we check the probe and its wiring. After a power loss, a control that never restarted explains a unit that sits dead.
Newer 18600 Series tables use R290 refrigerant in the smaller charge, while older ones were built with HFC-404A, so we confirm which one your table uses before we bring parts. R290 is flammable, so we handle it with care and ask owners to keep the compressor compartment closed.
Gaskets and Older Tables
Worn door and lid gaskets let a box lose its cold in a humid kitchen. A cracked condensate pan sends water to the floor. We repair these units when it makes sense and tell you when it does not. Every repair carries our 30-day workmanship warranty.

What the display or the blinking light means, what is safe to check, and when to stop and call us.
Delfield lines and model numbers we service
Current and older lines. Find the number on the data plate and open its series for the usual repairs.
What does the 18600 in my Delfield model number mean?
It is the series name for the refrigerated work tables with backsplash. The letters after it, such as BSTMP, tell us the top and the configuration, so read the whole number off the label for us.
Why is my Delfield prep table warm only at the pan rail?
The rail depends on cold air moving through it. A lid left open, a dirty condenser or a blocked vent can warm it first, and we check each one.
Can you repair Delfield reach-in freezers as well as prep tables?
Yes. We repair the 6000XL, Select 6000 and Specification Line reach-ins, in refrigerator and freezer versions, along with the prep tables, and the written price comes before any work.
