Anets sells fryers in tiers and we work on every one. The Platinum AEP electric fryers come in 14 and 18 inch widths with Computer, Digital or SSTC solid-state control, and the Platinum AGP gas fryers cover 55 to 75 lb. Below them are the Gold GoldenFry AGG fryers with filtration, the Silver Plus 40AV and 70AV, and the Silver 35AS to 70AS. The older 14G, 14GS and MX-14EG kettle fryers, rated at 111,000 Btu and needing no external power, still run in plenty of kitchens.
Common Problems and Where We Start
On millivolt models, a pilot that will not stay lit takes us through the pilot, the supply pressure and the thermocouple. The older 14GS needs at least 6 inches of water column on natural gas, and its thermocouple has to produce at least 10 millivolts. When the pilot is fine but the main burners stay dark, the thermostat and gas valve are next.
With an electric Anets, a heat light that stays on while the elements are cold usually means the high limit tripped. We let the oil cool, reset it, and then work out why it tripped. A computer showing DRAINING / TURN OFF points to the blue drain valve not being fully closed or a loose sensor switch. If the filter pump stays silent with the red return valve open, we go to the breaker, the thermal overload and that same sensor switch.
Grease and constant heat wear on all of it, and coastal humidity in Miami and Houston adds corrosion at connectors. Older fryers get an honest verdict on whether they are worth fixing, a written quote first, and a 30-day warranty on our work.

Yes. The 14G, 14GS and MX-14EG fryers are still in service and we repair them. They run without electricity, so we concentrate on the pilot, thermocouple, thermostat and gas valve.
Why is the heat light on my Anets electric fryer lit while the oil stays cold?
The high limit has probably tripped. Let the oil cool, then reset it. If the elements stay cold or the limit trips again, call us and we will test the limit and heating circuit.
What should I do when my Anets computer shows DRAINING / TURN OFF?
Push the blue drain valve handle fully closed. If the message stays, the sensor switch may be loose or out of position, and we check it along with the valve.
