Wascomat Coin-Operated Laundry Repair
We repair Wascomat coin-operated washer-extractors for laundromats and apartment laundry rooms in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego. We cover the coin control, the level system and the door lock, and we plan parts from the model number so machines keep earning.
Common Wascomat coin & card laundry problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Error 09, drum overfilled
Machine takes coins but will not fill
Door open or door lock error
Water stays in the machine
Fill time exceeded on a coin washer
Coin-operated W4 washers carry a second, mechanical level control in addition to the electronic one. Error 09, drum overfilled, appears only on coin machines, so when we see it we check both level controls and the hose that connects them. A blocked or kinked level hose is a common cause.
When a coin machine takes money and does not fill, we check the fill valves, the strainers and the door interlock. Door errors 02 and 03 send us to the lock, the switch and the wiring. Water left in the machine takes us back to the drain valve and hose.
Laundromat owners count idle machines as lost revenue, so we plan parts from the model number before we visit. We repair the Compass Control on older and newer W4 machines, and we inspect the wiring and connectors that vibration loosens on a busy washer. Cleaning the strainers and checking the hose clamps is part of a normal visit, so the machine does not come back with the same error.
The written price comes before we start, and the work carries a 30-day warranty.

What does error 09 mean on a coin Wascomat?
It means the drum overfilled. It applies to coin-operated machines because they carry a second mechanical level control. We check both level controls and the level hose.
The machine takes coins but nothing happens. Why?
The door interlock or the fill valves may not be responding. Close the door firmly and try once more. If nothing happens, we test the door lock, the valves and the control.
Do you repair the older W4 machines?
Yes. W4 washers are still in service in laundries everywhere, and we repair them. We say plainly when a repair would cost more than it is worth.
