The W4 line has hardmount H models and softmount S, M and N models, and every one uses Compass Control. The control is made up of a CPU board, I/O boards and a motor control unit, and the display shows a two-digit error. That number takes us to the right circuit before the machine is opened.
No water, or fill time exceeded, sends us to the inlet valves and strainers. Water standing in the machine, or a drum that will not drain, leads us to the drain valve and hoses. If the drum overfills, the level hose is the first stop, because a blockage there fools the control.
On a machine with electric heat, no heating sends us to the heating elements, the contactor and the temperature sensor. Motor control errors from 31 to 45 lead us to the drive and the motor.

Why does Wascomat error 10 appear?
Error 10 means the drum did not drain. Check that the drain hose is not kinked and the drain line is open. If it repeats, we check the drain valve and its wiring.
