Blakeslee Commercial Dishwasher Repair
We repair Blakeslee UC-18 undercounters and D-18, D-18D, D-18V and D-8B door-type dish machines in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego. We start with the alarm code on the display, then quote the price in writing.
Common Blakeslee dish machines problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
B1 boiler filling alarm
E1 water load failed
B2 or E2 probe alarm
B3 or E3 heating alarm
E6 tank draining failure
The D-18D and D-18V-3 are digital door-type machines, and the V is a ventless version with heat recovery. The D-8B and DD-8B are electric-heat machines with a booster, and the UC-18 is a high-temperature undercounter. Digital models show a plain-text alarm with a code.
B1 and E1 are failures to fill the boiler or the tank, and the owner step is to open the water supply valve and check the overflow pipe. B2 is a boiler probe failure and E2 a tank probe failure, and B3 and E3 are heating alarms. B4 means rinsing failed, B5 means the boiler is overheating, and E5 means the tank is overheating. E6 is a tank that will not drain, and Z10 is the break tank high level alarm.
For probe, heating and overheating alarms the machine needs a technician. We test the probe and its wiring, the heater and its contactor, the fill valve and the drain, and we check scale on the boiler. Older D-8B machines are still in service, and we tell you plainly whether a repair is worth the cost.

B5 means the boiler is overheating and E5 means the tank is overheating. Turn the machine off and call us. We test the temperature probe, the heater control and the contactor.
What is Z10 on a Blakeslee dish machine?
Z10 is the break tank high level alarm. Turn the machine off, check that the drain is clear, and call us. We test the level control and the fill valve.
Why does my Blakeslee D-18D show a probe alarm?
B2 means the boiler probe failed and E2 means the tank probe failed. The probe, its wiring or a connection needs a test, so call us rather than running the machine.
