Common dish machines problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Dishes coming out dirty or spotted
Machine not filling or draining
Wash or rinse arms clogged
Leaking from the door or base
Final rinse weak or cool
Pump humming or tripping the breaker
Dish machines, large and small
Undercounter machines, door-type or hood machines and compact units for bars and small kitchens are all commercial dishwashers. They wash and sanitize in restaurants, schools, churches, clinics and senior living facilities, using a pump, spray arms, a heating element, a drain and a rinse system.
Water is the main wear factor. Hard water leaves scale on heating elements, in spray arms and on rinse nozzles, and a chemical feed problem makes it worse. Food debris clogs strainers, and door seals, hinges and curtains wear from constant use.
What we inspect
We look at fill and drain, strainers, wash and rinse arms, the pump and motor, the heating element, thermostat and sensors, chemical feed lines and the door or curtain seals. A dirty load does not say whether water, chemicals or the pump is responsible, so we test each before replacing parts.
On older machines pumps, elements and seals are usually worth repairing, while a corroded tank may not be. Follow your health department rules for sanitizing and use only the chemicals your manual allows. Please do not reach into a machine with the power on. Have the data plate ready.
Dish machines codes by maker
The same characters mean different things on different makers and controls, so pick yours first.

Clogged wash arms, scale, a weak pump, low chemical feed or poor water heat can each be the cause. We check spray arms, strainers, water supply and chemical feed before blaming the pump.
Do you repair both high-temperature and low-temperature machines?
Yes. We service door-type, undercounter and hood-style machines, hot-water sanitizing and chemical sanitizing types. Tell us which you have and read the model off the data plate.
What helps you prepare for my call?
The model and serial number from the data plate, what the machine is doing, and the type of chemicals you use. Call us or use the online form, and we confirm a three-hour arrival window.
