Commercial Range Repair in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego
Restaurant ranges take heavy daily use, and burners, pilots and ovens wear in predictable ways. We repair gas and electric ranges, explain what we find, and give a written price before work begins.
Which ranges do you have?
Pick the maker on the data plate: each page lists its problems, codes and model series. Not on the list? Call us; we repair other makers too.
Common ranges problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Burner will not light or stays weak
Pilot keeps going out
Oven not reaching set temperature
Uneven flames or yellow tips
Loose knobs or sticking valves
Oven door hanging or not sealing
Ranges on a working line
Commercial ranges include open-burner and hot-top models, ranges with a standard or convection oven base, and heavy stock pot and wok ranges. They anchor the line in restaurants, school kitchens, church halls and institutional dining rooms, and most burn natural gas with electric ignition or standing pilots.
Years of spills, grease and heat take their toll. Burner ports clog, pilot assemblies and thermocouples wear out, valves get sticky, and oven doors and hinges loosen. Where the air is salty or humid, as in Miami, Houston and along the California coast, rust starts quickly wherever the finish has worn through.
What we check, and what to know
We inspect the burners and ports, ignition or pilots, safety valves, oven thermostat and igniter, door seals and the visible gas connections. A burner that will not light does not tell us whether dirt, ignition or the valve is the cause, so we test them in order.
Many older ranges were built to last and are worth keeping. We tell you honestly when a repair makes sense and when a cracked frame or worn-out oven points to replacement. If you smell gas, leave the building and call the gas utility from outside before anything else. Please do not modify gas fittings; new gas lines and connections are work for a licensed plumber. Have the data plate details ready.
Ranges codes by maker
The same characters mean different things on different makers and controls, so pick yours first.

Leave the building, keep flames and switches away, and call the gas utility from outside. Do not try to find the leak yourself. Once the utility clears the building, we can inspect and repair the equipment.
Why is one burner weak or yellow?
Grease, food debris and scale from boil-overs often clog burner ports and air shutters. A weak or yellow flame can also come from a gas pressure or valve problem. We clean and test before replacing parts.
What do you need to know before you arrive?
The model and serial number on the data plate, whether the range is gas or electric, and what you notice. Call us or use the online form to book, and we confirm a three-hour arrival window.
