No. It makes its own small signal from the pilot flame, so there is no plug to connect, and it keeps working in a kitchen where power to the fryer is limited.
What if the pilot keeps going out?
A weak thermopile, drafts or a dirty burner can all do it. We test the pilot signal and clean the pilot area during the visit so it stays lit.
Is a 35 lb fryer worth repairing?
