FilterQuick fryers are 30 lb electric units built in batteries of two, three or four vats, with filtration built in. The model number tells you the count: 2FQE30, 3FQE30 or 4FQE30. The EasyTouch FQ4000 control runs the cooking and the filter cycle.
Because the filter is part of the battery, most calls come down to the oil path: pad, O-rings, pump, drain valve and return valve. We also check each vat’s probe, since one vat can fail while its neighbors work. Heating problems lead us to the high limit, contactor and elements.
A FilterQuick battery works hard all day, so seals and valves wear first. If the battery has passed the point where repair makes sense, we say so plainly and quote the work before we begin.

The number in front of FQE30 tells you the count, so a 3FQE30 has three vats. The data plate on the cabinet carries the full model number, and we ask for it when you call.
Can one vat be repaired while the others cook?
Often yes, since each vat has its own heat and probe, so a problem in one vat does not always stop the others. Filtering is shared, so we plan the visit around your busy hours when you tell us when they are.
What do you check when filtering stops?
We check the pad, the O-rings, the pump and the valves that route the oil. We trace the oil path in that order and replace only the part that tests bad.
