This group covers older Frymaster gas fryers still in service: the MJ35 and MJ45 families and the earlier H55-2 and HD50G models, along with others such as the PMJ145, D50G and D60G. They hold 30 to 50 lb of oil and are rated at 110,000 or 122,000 Btu/hr. The control is either a Computer Magic or a millivolt.
On these older fryers we check the pilot, the gas valve and the thermostat or computer first, then the high limit and burners. Parts for older models take care to match, so we confirm the model number before the visit.

What does a Computer Magic control do?
It runs cook times and temperature on some older fryers. When it misbehaves, we check the probe and wiring before replacing the computer. It is common on older units.
