The C3 is an older TurboChef convection microwave oven. The models are C3/AB, C3/C, C3 Multi and C3/C Multi, and a C3 control board runs them. Some earlier ovens in the same family carry the names NGO, 2020 and Tornado.
The C3 shows its own messages: F1 blower, F2 low cook temperature, F3 magnetron current, F4 door monitor, F5 magnetron temperature, F6 electrical compartment, HX RISE LOW and OVEN DOOR OPEN. The microwave section uses high voltage, so we test it with proper tools. We check the door switches, the heater and the blower speed control, and we look at the control board last.
The C3 is an older line still in service. If one is past repair, you hear it from us first.

The door was opened during a cook cycle and not closed properly. Close it fully and try again. If it persists with the door shut, a switch or latch needs testing.
What does a low magnetron current mean on a C3?
The transformer is drawing less current than normal, which suggests the microwave circuit is weak. It is a technician job, because the parts hold high voltage.
Is a C3 worth repairing today?
