- CBO-9500-1
Repairs this series usually needs
- Element or thermocouple errors on the diagnostics screen
- Safety thermostat tripping
- Airflow and cooling
- Control board
The CIBO+ is a current TurboChef ventless rapid cook oven, model CBO-9500-1, on a 208-240V single-phase supply with a NEMA 6-20 plug. Instead of an F-number it uses a warning triangle on the touch screen that opens a diagnostics screen.
From that screen you can re-test element and thermocouple errors, and you can restart the oven by switching it off for 10 seconds at the plug. When the oven is cool, the red safety thermostat button on the rear can be reset. If the problem persists, we test the elements, the thermocouples and the board, and we check the airflow around the oven as well.
We repair the CIBO+ at your location and tell you the price in writing before we start.

It opens a diagnostics screen. You can re-test an element or thermocouple error there. Write down what it shows, because that tells us where to look.
When is it safe to press the red button?
Only when the oven is cool. The button is on the rear and resets the safety thermostat. If it trips again, stop pressing it and call us so we can find out why it keeps opening.
Does the CIBO+ show F-numbers?
The CIBO+ uses the warning triangle and the diagnostics screen instead. We read what the screen lists, test the part it names and give you the price in writing first.
