Wascomat Washer Error Code 07: Overfilled
Code 07 means the drum filled above a preset level during a running program. Switch the washer off and make sure it is not still taking in water. If the code returns, the level system or a filler valve needs a technician.
High: an overfilling washer can leak or flood, and the machine stops until the cause is fixed.
What does Wascomat error code 07 mean?
While a program runs, the Compass control compares the level system reading with the levels the program allows. If the drum fills above a predetermined level, the control stops the cycle and shows ERROR 007 / OVERFILLED. The reason matters because too much water can leak from the door or overflow, and a valve that does not close can keep adding water. The manual names four causes: a blocked level hose, drops of water in the level tube that give a wrong pressure reading, a defective filler valve that does not shut, and a defective electronic filler control. The first two make the control think the level is higher than it is, while the last two let in more water than commanded. The service steps are to blow through the level hose and check the level control and all water valves in the service program.

What you may notice
- ERROR 007 / OVERFILLED appears and the cycle stops
- Water sits higher in the door glass than normal
- Water keeps entering after the machine stops
- The drum looks fuller than the programmed level
Possible causes
Listed in Wascomat's documentation
- Blocked level hose
- Drops of water in the level tube
- Defective filler valve
- Defective electronic filler control
Other likely causes — what usually sits behind error code 07 on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- A filler valve held open by grit or scale from the building water supply
- A level hose that has shifted or kinked so the pressure reading no longer matches the true level
Safe checks before calling for service
- Switch the machine off at the disconnect and check whether water is still running into the drum.
- If water is still entering, close the water supply valves behind the machine.
- Do not open the door while the drum is full. Let it drain or have a technician drain it.
- Write down the program, the display text and how high the water got, and call us.
How a technician diagnoses error code 07
- Read the code and history, then confirm the actual drum water against the level reading.
- Blow through the level hose to clear water drops and blockages.
- Check the level control in the service program with the drum empty and during fill.
- Test each filler valve for closing fully and for sticking open.
- Check the electronic filler control output and its wiring.
- Replace the valve, hose or control only after it fails its test.
- A valve that will not close can flood the laundry, so the water supply is controlled first.
- Valve coils and the filler control carry mains voltage and sit behind panels.
- Checking the level system requires service-program access and calibration.
How error code 07 differs from similar codes
Code 09 DRUM OVERFILLED applies to coin-operated machines only and comes from a separate mechanical level control that trips above the point where code 07 should have acted.

Related Wascomat washer error codes
Can I keep the washer running with code 07?
No. If a valve is stuck open, the machine can overflow, so shut off the water supply and switch it off.
Will it clear itself?
If the cause was water drops in the level tube it may clear temporarily, but it will return until the cause is found.
What is the difference between code 07 and code 01?
Code 07 means too much water and code 01 means the fill level was never reached. They point to opposite problems.
