What does Wascomat error code 19 mean?
On installations where the washer is linked to a superior monitoring system, the Compass control exchanges data with it over a network connection. The control expects this link to stay alive. If communication stops, it shows ERROR 019 / MASTER COMM. The manual names three causes: an error in the network connections, a damaged cable, or a defective monitoring system. In other words, the washer may be fine and the break may be anywhere along the path between machine and master. Its instruction is to contact the supplier of the monitoring system, since they know the network layout and the settings. Which of the three is behind the code depends on how many machines are affected. If every machine on the system reports it, the master or the shared network is the likely place, but one machine alone points to its own connection.
