  • PLEXOR M2

Repairs this series usually needs

  1. F1 blower not running
  2. F2 cook temperature low
  3. F5 magnetron over temperature
  4. F6 electrical compartment too hot

The PLEXOR M2 is a current TurboChef multicook oven with two cavities, supplied on a NEMA 6-50 circuit. Two cavities mean two sets of airflow and two sets of cooking parts, so an error on one side does not always stop the other. It also means a repair can be limited to the cavity that has the problem.

Its owner troubleshooting table lists the blower message F1, low cook temperature F2, magnetron over temperature F5 and the electrical compartment message F6. We check the breaker and the plug first, then the air nozzles, the fan guards and the blower in the cavity named, and last the heater and the magnetron.

We repair the M2 at your location and write the price before we start.

FAQTurboChef PLEXOR M2 Multicook Ovens questions
Does an error on one cavity stop the other?

Not always, because each cavity has its own parts. Tell us which cavity showed the message and what it was cooking, and we plan the visit around that one.

What does F5 on the M2 usually mean?

The magnetron got too hot, often from blocked cool air or clogged rear fan guards. Clear the airflow around the oven, clean the guards as your manual says and let the oven cool before you start it again.

Does the M2 need a special circuit?

Yes, it needs a NEMA 6-50 supply. An electrician should confirm the circuit and the plug if the oven shows power-related messages, because we cannot tell a weak supply from a failed part without checking.
