Older Newco Brewers We Keep Running
Most of the Newco brewers we repair are older ones that have served for years in restaurants, churches, offices and convenience stores. They include the NB-TD and NB-LD 20:1 brewers and the CB series, including the CB Dual, CB-2, CB-5 and CB-7. We also see the OCS-16A, LCD-1, Bistro 1, FC-LD, FC-S3, CX-Touch and B-10. If your model is not on that list, call us anyway and we will tell you what we can do.
Because these brewers are older, the same few problems come up. A tank that will not fill points us to the water supply, the filter and the inlet valve. A leak from the tank sends us to the fittings, the gasket and the tank itself. A brewer that is not hot enough, or that shows a temperature error, leads us to the temperature probe, the thermistor and the heater. The LCD-1 and the Bistro also have motors, and a motor that will not run gets its own tests.
Repair or Replace
Hard water leaves scale on the heater and probes, so we descale when scale is the cause. With a brewer many years old we consider parts supply and total cost, and we tell you plainly if replacing it makes more sense.
The model number on the plate helps us confirm parts before the visit. Nothing starts until you have the price in writing, and the repair comes with a 30-day warranty.

Do you repair old Newco brewers?
Yes. Most of our Newco calls are on older NB-TD, NB-LD and CB brewers. We repair what is worth repairing and say plainly when replacement makes more sense.
Why will my Newco brewer not fill?
A closed supply valve, a clogged water filter or a weak inlet valve is the usual cause. We check the supply first and then test the valve and the tank.
