True has a large display line. The GDM glass door merchandisers are the most common, in refrigerator and freezer versions from the small GDM-05-HC up to the GDM-72-HC. We also service TDM and TGM display merchandisers, TVM, FLM and CVM models, and TCGG, TOAM, THAC, TAC and TMC display cases.
Glass doors bring a problem that solid doors do not have. Moist air condenses on cold glass when a gasket leaks or the door heaters stop working, and customers see fog instead of product. That shows up fastest in humid coastal cities. A door that no longer swings shut by itself lets warm air pour in and can push the cabinet into an alarm. Along with the coil and the controller, we check hinges, gaskets and door heaters.
Newer GDM models use an electronic control, and the newest ones use a different control board, so we match the part to the label. Lighting is a quick fix on many cabinets, and when possible we handle it in the same visit.

Fog means moist air is reaching cold glass. A worn gasket, a door left ajar or a failed door heater are the usual causes, and we check each one.
Can you repair an older GDM merchandiser?
Yes. We repair older GDM cabinets and tell you plainly if the repair is not worth the cost. We confirm parts from the model number before we come.
My display cabinet is cold but the product looks frosty. What is wrong?
Frost on product or fins can come from a defrost problem or from humid air entering around the doors. We check the defrost cycle and the door seals.
