Wascomat Washer Error Code 52: Charge Circuit
Code 52 means the DLCU arming circuit for the door lock coil was charged when it should not be. If the error cannot be cleared, the manual says to replace the CPU unit. Switch the machine off and on once, then call us.

What does Wascomat error code 52 mean?
The door lock coil is switched through an arming circuit in the DLCU, the Compass control's safety processor. That circuit should be charged only when the control has asked the door to lock. If the DLCU finds it charged at any other time, it shows ERROR 052 / CHARGE CIRCUIT, because a charged arming circuit could lock or release the door unexpectedly. The manual names two causes: overloads or defective parts in the DLCU, and defective parts in the CPU. Its remedy is to clear the error, and if it cannot be cleared, to replace the CPU unit. The code is therefore about the safety electronics on the control board, not the door lock itself, and nothing outside the board is listed as a cause. An operator cannot judge which side of the board is responsible.
