Wascomat Washer Error Code 60: Actuator Circuit
Code 60 means the DLCU detected a break, over 50 kohm, in the door lock actuator coil circuit. If the error returns after a reset and the hatch lock and its cables are good, the manual says to change the CPU.
High: the door cannot be locked, so the washer will not run.
What does Wascomat error code 60 mean?
The door lock has an actuator coil that the DLCU drives. Before it relies on the lock, the DLCU measures the resistance of that coil circuit. If the reading is over 50 kohm, it sees a break and shows ERROR 060 / ACTUATOR CIRCUIT. The manual lists three causes: a break in the cables between the hatch lock and the CPU, a problem in the hatch lock solenoid, and a problem or break in the CPU circuits. The remedy: if the error returns after a reset, and the hatch lock and its cables are good, change the CPU. A break means the coil gets no current, so the door cannot be locked and the cycle will not start. The test order follows the path of the signal, from the lock and its cables first to the board last.
