The Horizon HBR is the newer-style bottom-mount reach-in from Beverage-Air, with 25 numbers such as HBR12HC-1, HBR19HC-1 and HBR19HC-1-G. The G at the end marks a glass door. It sits next to the RB line in the bottom-mount family, but the HBR has its own parts, so the plate number is what we match.
When an HBR runs warm, we check the floor-level condenser, the fans and the door seal. A glass-door version leaks more heat through the door, so we also look at the door heater and the gasket. The controller may be a Danfoss or an Eliwell, and its alarm wording tells us which.
We replace gaskets and fan motors on these cabinets regularly and confirm the part numbers before the visit.

They are separate lines in the bottom-mount family, each with its own parts. The plate number tells us which you have, so please read it to us when you call.
My glass-door HBR sweats. Why?
A door heater that is not working or a gasket that leaks warm air lets moisture form on the glass. We test the heater and the seal.
Do HBR cabinets use R290?
Current Beverage-Air cabinets do. Because it is flammable, only a technician should open the sealed system or recharge the cabinet. Leave refrigerant work to us.
