The WTR is the Beverage-Air worktop refrigerator, a low cabinet topped with a work surface, in widths from 27 to 119 inches. Forty-five plate numbers are listed, such as WTR20HC, WTR48AHC and WTR119AHC. Some models use a mechanical controller instead of an electronic one.
A worktop cabinet sits beside the line, so heat and flour reach the condenser through the front grille. A long 119 inch cabinet has several doors and gaskets, and a leak in one of them can warm a single section. We start with the grille and condenser, then every gasket, then the fans and the controller.
If your cabinet has a knob and no display, tell us, because the checks differ from an electronic model. We confirm the control type first.

Each section has its own door seal and part of the air path. A bad gasket or a blocked vent on one section warms just that section.
My WTR has no display. Is that normal?
Some models use a mechanical controller with a knob. That is normal, and we test the thermostat instead of reading codes. We replace the thermostat when it is the cause.
Can I put hot pans on the work surface?
The surface can take kitchen use, but heavy heat on top adds load to the cabinet. Keep air space around the grille and wipe spills quickly.
