The Horizon HR is a Beverage-Air top-mount reach-in, meaning the compressor and condenser sit above the food compartment. The plate number starts with HR and a section count, as in HR1HC-1G, HR1HC-1HG or HR1HC-1HS, and the letters at the end describe door style. Fourteen numbers are in the line.
A top-mount unit pulls room air through the condenser at the top of the cabinet, so lint and kitchen grease collect where you cannot see them. We start there, then check the door seals and the fans. The display tells us which controller you have: Danfoss cabinets show Hi, Lo and dOr, and Eliwell cabinets show AH1, AL1 and OPd.
Current cabinets use R290, a flammable refrigerant, so sealed-system work stays with us.

A restock puts warm product into the box and the doors stay open longer, so the air temperature climbs. If Hi clears as the cabinet recovers, the load was the reason. If it stays, the condenser or the seals need a look.
How do I know which controller my HR has?
Read the wording on the display. Hi, Lo and dOr belong to the Danfoss control, while AH1, AL1 and OPd belong to the Eliwell control. Tell us which you see and we plan the visit.
Is it safe for me to clean the top condenser?
Switching the cabinet off and brushing dust from the fins is fine for most owners. Leave panels, wiring and refrigerant parts to us, since the cabinet uses a flammable refrigerant.
