QuickFry is a pair of Vulcan gas freestanding fryers, the VHG50 and the VHG70. The model on the data plate tells you which one you have, and the number points to the oil size class.
We begin with the basics of a gas fryer: the supply, the burners, the ignition and the thermostat or control. Slow recovery between loads often traces back to soot on the tubes or a gas supply that is too low. A leak at the drain valve is worth fixing at once.
A QuickFry that is old enough to be worn gets an honest estimate from us, including whether replacing it makes more sense. Say whether it is the VHG50 or the VHG70 when you book. If the pilot or burner dies mid-service, tell us exactly what happened when you call.

The VHG70 is the larger one. Your data plate has the full model, and we use it to match parts, so give it to us when you book the visit.
Why is my QuickFry so slow?
Soot on the tubes, low gas pressure or a control problem are the usual reasons. We test each and give a written price before any repair begins.
Do you repair the drain valve?
Yes. Switch the fryer off, let the oil cool completely and Never drain hot oil to get at a leaking valve; we make the repair once the oil is cool.
