The DP and DPD are Beverage-Air refrigerated bases that sit under griddles, ranges and ovens. The DPD has drawers, and the DP has doors or an open front. Plate numbers such as DP46HC, DP60HC and DP119HC show the width. Thirty numbers are listed. The same numbers appear in the pizza prep list, because the cabinet is shared.
A base lives under heat, which stresses the condenser and the gaskets. We check the drawers and slides first, then the grille and coil, then the fans and the controller. If a base is boxed in tight against hot equipment, we suggest spacing that helps.

Is the DP the same cabinet as the pizza prep table?
The cabinet is shared across both uses. A pizza table has a rail on top and a chef base has a flat top for equipment.
Do drawer slides need replacing often?
With heavy use they wear. We check them and replace rollers or slides when they bind. Slides are cheap parts, and a drawer that closes well also keeps the cabinet cold.
