The VWR is the Victory worktop refrigerator, with 30 numbers such as VWR27HC, VWR32HC, VWR48HC and VWR119HC. It carries the same Danfoss ERC-type controller as the VUR, which shows Hi, Lo, dOr and LEA.

A worktop sits at the line, so heat and flour reach the grille. We check it first, then the gaskets, which matter most on multi-door units, then the fans and the controller. A Hi alarm during service often clears when the cabinet recovers.

For a long cabinet, tell us which section is warm, and we start with that door and its fan. After the repair we recheck every section of the cabinet, not just the one that was warm, since a long cabinet can have more than one weak seal.

What is the difference between a VUR and a VWR?

The VUR is an undercounter and the VWR has a work surface on top. Both use a similar control, so the codes mean the same. The plate tells us which you have.

Why is the right end of my cabinet warm?

A gasket or a fan on that end may be weak, or a pan may block the air path. We check each section rather than the cabinet as a whole.

Can the top take heavy kitchen use?

Yes, within reason. Keep spills off the front grille and avoid stacking hot pans on the surface for long, since the heat adds load. Wiping spills right away protects the gaskets.
