Repairs this series usually needs
- Freezer side warm while the refrigerator side is fine
- AH1 or AL1 alarms
- OPd door message
- Probe codes E1 to E5
- Frost on the coil
The RFS and RFSA are Victory dual-temperature reach-ins, with a refrigerator side and a freezer side in one cabinet. Numbers such as RFS(A)-1D-S1-HD-HC and RFS(A)-2D-S1-EW-HC are among the ten listed. The controller shows AH1, AL1 and OPd, with probe codes E1 to E5.
We check each side separately, since one can drift while the other is fine. Then we look at the gaskets, the airflow between the sides, the condenser and the fans. The probe codes name Pb1 to Pb5, so we test the one named before we replace anything.
Tell us which side is the problem and when it started, and we plan the visit around that. After a repair we test both sides again, so each holds its own temperature and neither borrows cold from the other.

Each side has its own air path and probe. A frosted coil, a weak fan or a leaking gasket on one side warms just that side while the other stays normal.
What does AL1 mean on this cabinet?
AL1 says the temperature fell below the low alarm limit. A probe reading wrong or a changed set point can cause it, so we check both against a thermometer.
Can I set the two sides separately?
Yes. Each side has its own set point. We confirm both with a thermometer during the visit so the cabinet holds what you need on each side.
