Is an HS a refrigerator?

No. It holds food hot. Because of that we check the heating element, the probe and the control instead of a cooling system, and we confirm the model from the plate.

Why is my cabinet losing heat?

A worn gasket, a weak element or a bad probe can each do it. We test them in order and price any part in writing before we replace it.

Do heated cabinets use the same codes as the refrigerators?

The VCC controller uses the same family of alarm words, so some codes look familiar. The meaning of a temperature alarm is reversed, since low heat is the usual worry.
