Common Insinger problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.

Lime scale in the booster
Pumped drain not emptying
Chemical pumps not priming
Door switch or start problems
Conveyor drive or rack jam
Prewash tank too cool
The Insinger Range We Work On
Insinger builds a wide range, and we work on current and older machines. The Cadet is a high-temperature undercounter with three cycles for dishes, cookware and glassware. The Ensign 40-2 is a counter-type machine with a telescoping hood, and the Commander Ace and CX20 are door-type machines with a booster. Rack conveyors include the Admiral ADVANCED 44 and 66, Speeder 64 and 86, Super 106, Rack-A-Matic and Century flight-type machines. Pot and pan washers include the CA-3, DA-3, SW series and Aqua Scrubber.
Heat is usually the issue. A Cadet needs at least 70 degrees F incoming water to reach a 180 degree F rinse, and the booster, an atmospheric tank on the Cadet and the IS booster on the Admiral and CX20, collects lime scale in hard-water cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego and Houston. The Commander Ace has an ACE Mode that automates the delime and sanitize routine, and we recommend running it on schedule.
How We Troubleshoot
If the rinse runs cool, we check the incoming water, booster, thermostat and element. A pumped drain that will not empty sends us to the pump and its hose. The chemical pumps have a built-in priming system, so we test priming. Start problems usually lead to the door switch and controls.
On older machines we say plainly when a repair no longer makes sense. You get a written price first and a 30-day warranty on our work.

The Cadet needs at least 70 degrees F incoming water to reach a 180 degree F rinse. If the water is warm enough, scale in the booster or a failing thermostat is likely. Call us and we test each part.
What is ACE Mode on an Insinger Commander Ace?
ACE Mode is an automated delime and sanitize routine. Run it on schedule to keep the booster free of lime. If the machine will not finish the routine or the rinse stays cool, call us.
Do you repair older Insinger conveyors like the Clipper and Defender?
Yes. We repair current Admiral, Speeder and Super machines and older Clipper, Master and Defender conveyors. If a repair is not worth the cost, we say so before we start.
Do you repair Insinger pot and pan washers?
Yes. We repair CA-3 and DA-3 pot and pan washers, SW utensil washers and Aqua Scrubber machines. Tell us the model and the problem, and we plan the visit.
