Indigo NXT is the current Manitowoc cuber family with a touch display. Model numbers begin with I and look like IDT0500A, IYT0900N or IYF1800C. The first letters tell you the cube shape, the next letter shows the refrigerant, and the last letter shows air-cooled, water-cooled, remote or QuietQube. The display keeps an Alert log that helps us see what happened before a stop.
If a probe stops reporting, the machine goes into a safe operation mode and keeps making ice for up to 72 hours before it shuts off, so a safe mode alert is a countdown and not a cure. Long freeze and long harvest alerts usually trace back to scale, heat or water supply.
We read the Alert log, check the probes and water side, and then the condenser and sealed system.
