The Indigo R290 machines, the I0320A and I0500A, are air-cooled Indigo cubers that use R290, a flammable propane refrigerant. They use the Indigo control board, so the Event Log and the usual freeze and harvest checks apply.
Because R290 is flammable, sealed system work follows special rules, and we handle it carefully. Owners can still do the simple things: keep the condenser clear, keep the water supply open and follow the cleaning schedule.
When one of these machines stops, we start with water, scale and the probes, check the condenser and then read the log. Tell us the full model number on the data plate and what the display shows, and we plan the visit from there. If you smell gas near the machine, leave the area and call the gas utility from outside before you call us.
