Slush Machine Repair in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego
Slush and frozen beverage machines must freeze evenly and dispense smoothly. We repair them for convenience stores, restaurants and concession stands and explain what is worn before work. Older machines are welcome.
Which slush & frozen drinks do you have?
Pick the maker on the data plate: each page lists its problems, codes and model series. Not on the list? Call us; we repair other makers too.
Common slush & frozen drinks problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Slush staying soupy and never freezing
Product freezing into a solid block
Auger stopping or squealing
Dispense valve leaking or sticking
Error or sudden shutoff
Condenser air hot and weak
Slush machines include single-bowl and multi-bowl frozen beverage dispensers, granita machines and frozen drink units for convenience stores, concession stands, restaurants and event venues. Each has a refrigeration system, a bowl or barrel, a rotating auger, seals, a dispense valve and controls.
What strains the machine
Summer heat strains the refrigeration system, especially when the condenser is dusty or the machine sits in a hot spot, and outdoor stands in Miami, Houston and Southern California feel it most. Sugary product dries into valves and seals and causes leaks and sticking. Hard water leaves scale in lines, and outages can stress the compressor.
We check the condenser and airflow, the compressor and refrigeration, the auger and drive, the bowl seals, the dispense valve and the controls. A machine that will not freeze and one that freezes solid have different possible causes, and the product cannot name one, so we test each part.
Repair or replace, and what to have ready
If the refrigeration is sound, new seals, an auger or a control is usually worthwhile. If the compressor has failed on an older unit, we explain the choice plainly. Find the model label or data plate first; it saves time on the phone.
Please do not open the refrigeration system, force the auger or work on the electrical area yourself.
Slush & frozen drinks codes by maker
The same characters mean different things on different makers and controls, so pick yours first.

A weak refrigeration system, a dirty condenser, a worn auger or the wrong mix can each be the cause. The product alone does not tell us which, so we check airflow, the auger and the cooling before recommending a repair.
Why did my product freeze into a block?
A control that reads wrong, a stalled auger or a low mix level can freeze the bowl solid. Stop the machine, follow your food-safety plan, and call us. Do not force the auger.
Can you repair an older slush machine?
Yes. Older machines are common in our work. We check the refrigeration, auger, seals and controls, give a written price before work, and say honestly when replacing the machine is the better choice.
