IPSO Industrial Laundry Repair
We repair IPSO washer-extractors and IPD tumble dryers used in on-premise and industrial laundries in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego. We work on both gas and steam dryers and on older machines in daily use.
Common IPSO industrial laundry problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
IPD dryer shows OP or SH
Dryer burner stops on an AF code
Dryer takes too long to dry
Washer fill error stops production
Washer shows an Ed drive code
Door lock error on the washer
A working laundry needs both machines, so we handle the ICN washer-extractors and the IPD120 and IPD170 dryers together. The IPD dryers come as a gas version marked G2 and a steam version marked S2, and both use the On Premise Micro control with a thermistor and an airflow switch.
When an IPD dryer shows OP or SH, we test the temperature sensor and its connector. An AF code and a burner that cuts out take us to the exhaust: lint screens, the duct and the outside hood. Long drying times start in the same place, since restricted airflow makes the dryer work harder, especially in a humid laundry room.
On a gas dryer we also check the ignition and the gas valve, and we close the gas valve before any service. If you smell gas, leave the building and call the gas utility from outside. On the washer side we start with the message on the display.

Do you repair both gas and steam IPD dryers?
Yes. We service the G2 gas and S2 steam versions of the IPD120 and IPD170. We check airflow, sensors and the heat source, and quote the price in writing first.
What do OP and SH mean on the dryer display?
OP means the thermistor circuit is open and SH means it is shorted. The dryer cannot control heat, so we test the sensor, its connector and the wiring.
How do you handle an older IPD dryer?
We repair it when the repair makes sense and tell you plainly when it does not. Our written price covers the parts we confirmed from the model number.
