Bar Refrigerator Repair in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego
Back-bar coolers, bottle coolers and keg refrigeration take a beating from busy shifts and spills. We repair bar refrigeration, quote it in writing, and service older units too.
Which bar refrigeration do you have?
Pick the maker on the data plate: each page lists its problems, codes and model series. Not on the list? Call us; we repair other makers too.
Common bar refrigeration problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Bottles and beer not cold enough
Glass doors cloudy or dripping
Draft beer pouring foamy
Sticky residue clogging the condenser
Door sticking or hard to close
Unit loud or cycling constantly
Cooling behind and under the bar
Back-bar bottle coolers, undercounter beer and beverage coolers, glass froster chillers, kegerators and keg coolers all belong here. They sit in bars, restaurants, hotels, event venues and clubs, usually in tight spaces next to ice bins and soda guns.
Bar units wear in their own way. Spilled drinks and sugar glaze the condenser, moisture collects near the doors, and built-in openings limit airflow around the unit. Warm, humid nights in Miami and Houston, and packed weekends in New York, Los Angeles and San Diego, make each of these worse.
What we check, and what to know
We check the condenser and ventilation space, fans, door gaskets and hinges, the drain, the controller and the sealed system. For keg coolers we also look at the cooling unit, fan and door seal. A warm bottle does not say whether airflow or refrigerant is to blame, so we measure first.
On an older bar cooler, a gasket, fan or controller often costs far less than replacement. If the cabinet is rusted or the glass is cracked, we say so early. Please do not push a built-in unit back into a tight opening with its vents covered, and have the data plate ready when you call.
Bar refrigeration codes by maker
The same characters mean different things on different makers and controls, so pick yours first.

Frequent door openings, a dirty condenser and a worn gasket are the usual reasons. Bar units also collect sugar and spills near the coil. We clean and check airflow first, then test the refrigeration.
Do you repair kegerators and keg coolers?
We repair the refrigeration side of keg coolers and walk-in keg rooms, including the cooling unit and controls. Draft line cleaning and gas supply are separate services, and we tell you which part of the problem is ours.
