ICN washer-extractors have a front-end control that shows plain-language errors for fill, door lock, drain and unbalance, plus Ed codes from Ed01 to Ed11 for the motor drive. That list gives us a clear place to start.
A fill error means the programmed water level was not reached. We check the water supply, the inlet valves and screens, and the level sensing, and hard water leaves scale on valves and screens. A drain alarm sends us to the drain valve, the hoses and any restriction downstream of the machine.
A door lock error means the control saw the door unlocked during a cycle, so we test the latch, the lock switch and the harness. When an unbalance error repeats with a normal load, we examine the balance switch, the suspension and the mounting.
An Ed code leads us to the drive, the motor and their connections. We confirm parts from the ICN model number before we come out, so the first visit does not end in a wait for parts.

What should I try before calling about a drain alarm?
Make sure the drain outlet and any floor drain are not backed up, and that the hose is not kinked. If the alarm returns, we test the drain valve and wiring.
Why does my washer stop with an unbalance error?
The control sensed the load shifting too much to spin safely. Redistribute the load and restart. If it repeats, we inspect the switch, suspension and mounts.
Is an older IPSO washer worth repairing?
Often yes, because the frames and drums are sturdy. We quote in writing and tell you plainly if a drive or control failure makes replacement the better choice.
