Which coffee brewers do you have?
Pick the maker on the data plate: each page lists its problems, codes and model series. Not on the list? Call us; we repair other makers too.
Common coffee brewers problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Brew weak or lukewarm
Brewer dripping or leaking under the basket
Water not flowing or spraying evenly
Hot water tap barely trickling
Brewer shutting off or showing an error
Coffee tasting off after cleaning
Commercial coffee brewers include automatic batch brewers, pour-over and airpot models, decanter brewers and units with a hot water tap. Cafes, restaurants, hotels, offices, churches and convenience stores run them every day. A brewer has a water inlet, a heated tank, a valve, a spray head and controls.
Why brewers need service
Hard water is the main wear factor. Mineral scale coats heating elements and fills lines, spray heads and valves, so the brewer heats slowly and flows poorly. Heat and humidity add corrosion on electrical connections, and daily use wears gaskets and valves.
We check the water supply and filter first, then the inlet valve, the heating tank and element, the thermostat, the spray head and the controls. A weak brew can come from several of these, and the taste cannot name one, so we test the parts in order and report what we find.
Repair or replace, and what to have ready
If the tank and frame are sound, a repair or descaling visit is usually worthwhile. If the tank is leaking or badly scaled throughout, we explain why a new brewer may be the better choice. Have the model label or data plate ready when you call, along with what the brewer is doing.
Please do not open the electrical area or the hot tank yourself, and let the brewer cool before touching any part.
Coffee brewers codes by maker
The same characters mean different things on different makers and controls, so pick yours first.

A scaled heating element, a clogged spray head, a failing thermostat or a water flow problem can each cause it. The taste alone does not tell us which, so we test the heater and the water path before recommending a repair.
Does scale really matter for a brewer?
Yes. Hard water leaves mineral scale in the tank, lines and spray head, which slows heating and blocks flow. We check for scale first, clean what can be cleaned, and tell you what has worn beyond cleaning.
Do you repair older brewers?
Yes. Many brewers last for years with care. We check the heater, valves, controls and tank, give a written price before work, and say honestly when replacing the brewer is the wiser choice.
