Hobart Dish Machine, Mixer and Slicer Repair
We repair Hobart dish machines, boosters, mixers, slicers, food processors and grinders, current models and older lines alike, in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego. Tell us the model name and we plan the parts before we come out.

Pick yours: each page lists the problems, codes and model series for that kind of Hobart equipment.
Common Hobart problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Dishes coming out cloudy
LOW RINSE TEMP message on the screen
ER code on the mixer display
Mixer stops under a heavy batch
Slicer knife will not start
Slices coming out wedge-shaped
Grinder smears the meat
Hobart Dish Room and Prep Equipment
In the dish room we work on LXe Advansys and AM15 undercounters, AM16 door-type machines, CL and CLe rack conveyors, FT1000 flight-type machines and CPW pot and pan washers, along with the built-in and stand-alone booster heaters behind them. Older C-Line conveyors and Ecomax machines still run in many kitchens, and we repair those too.
On the prep side, the Legacy+ mixer family runs from the HL120 and HL200 bench models through the HL300 and HL400 floor mixers to the HL600, HL800, HL1400 and the HL662 pizza dough mixer. We also see the N50 five-quart mixer, HSL and HSU spiral mixers, HS series slicers and their older EDGE predecessors, FP continuous-feed processors, FP41 and HCM cutter mixers, and Hobart grinders and mixer-grinders.
Scale, Messages and First Checks
Hard water in Los Angeles, San Diego and Houston leaves scale on heating elements, boosters and rinse nozzles, which is why a machine that once rinsed hot starts falling short. An LXe prints plain messages such as LOW RINSE TEMP or WASH ARM ALERT, and an AM15 shows E2 for a slow fill. On an HL800 or HL1400 mixer the drive reports an ER code and will not run until power is cycled and the cause is corrected, so we look at supply voltage, the bottom vent and the size of the batch.
A slicer knife that will not start takes us to the thermal overload, the carriage home position and the start switch. On older machines we say plainly when a repair no longer pays. We line up the parts before we come out, and you see the price in writing before any work starts. Each repair carries a 30-day warranty.

Yes. We service C-Line conveyors, Ecomax machines and EDGE slicers along with the current lines. If a repair is not worth the cost on an older unit, we tell you before any work begins.
Why does my Hobart mixer show an ER code and stop?
On the HL800 and HL1400 the drive protects itself and holds the code until power is cycled and the cause is corrected. We check supply voltage, the bottom vent and the batch size, then price the repair in writing.
Do you work on Hobart booster heaters?
Yes. We repair the built-in boosters on CLe conveyors and LXe undercounters, and stand-alone units. Scale on the element is the usual reason a rinse comes out cool, and we test it before quoting a price.
Can you fix a Hobart slicer that will not start?
We do. We check the thermal overload, the carriage home position, the start switch and the keypad on automatic models. Tell us whether it is an HS6, HS7, HS8 or HS9 and we plan the visit around it.
